World Ningyo Exhibition

Here is a link to see all the wonderful dolls as they are set up at the show.
http://www.dolsballad.co.jp/index.html
Click on the picture of Tine Kamberbeeks fairy in the block that says World Ningyo Exibition. It will take you to the show page.
There are two pages of doll photos. To get to the second page click on the short brown sidebar at the bottom of the page on the right (not on the long brown one), or, on the short brown side bar top right in the picture of the blue brick window that says Maruzen.
There are some pretty fantastic dolls! My little Victoria looks so lonely on the table by herself!! I only had time to make the one doll, but she has her little vampire dolly to keep her company!
I love all the wonderful Japanese ball jointed dolls in the show!
I'm inspired!!
Happy hauntings, Gail

Eye Candy! What a treat to see the dolls all set up for the show - how wonderful it would be to attend. Little Victoria looks enchanting all by herself!

Thanks for sharing the link Gail, I so enjoyed it.

Gail, your Victoria is amazing - she deserves a block to herself. And congrats again on being invited to the event! I went crazy salivating over all of the pictures and amazingly inventive pieces that were there.

Thanks for the comments! It would have been really exciting to go and see all the dolls in person. Always so much better than photos! I just love the work of the japanese artists! They are so inspirering as were all the dolls from everywhere in the show. There are so mnay fantastic artists out there it is over whelming! I am suprised there wern't more artists from the US though.

You didn't go to Japan? Loved all the pictures...there were some incredible dolls (I loved the one with the Asian baby and the big red fish~do you know which artist that was?) And there were definitely some creepy little babies...shiver! I must say that Victoria stole the show! Congrats!

She is lovely and it is a good thing she has her dollie with her.
How is you husband liking his new knee?
I can relate to the care taking part...my parents need more of my time. When I feel overwhelmed, I think of all the time they took care of me and how I love that we still have them with us.
